The trial ends, one singular answer rising to the top of the metaphorical pile of...secrets? I'm losing this metaphor here. Let's see if you're right!

Q1: Who created the Galaxy Diorama? (15)
Given Answer: Archie created the Observatory Plans, and Squeaks fabricated the galaxy diorama along with the notes on it. Squeaks also created the special sun that was used in the diorama from a giant bomb in Courtyard A, painting it yellow with paint from Archie's House.
Actual Answer: 100% Right! While the Observatory was originally and always a part of the castle's designs, the Galaxy Diorama was a complete fabrication by our beloved Blackened. The only minor nitpick is you say that used the bomb from Courtyard A, but later you mention it being a cheese bomb, which is the correct result so I'll ignore it. Even the sun was made with paint inside Archie's House, excellent eye to detail! 15 points.
Q2: Why did the Galaxy Diorama malfunction? (20)
Given Answer: Squeaks designed the Galaxy Diorama with the bomb at the central piston. If it exploded, the ceiling and heavy metal planets would fall from high up in the air and crush whoever was underneath. A cheese bomb was hidden in the special sun bomb 15 years ago. As soon as Squeaks could detect that Diorama was off-balance by his cheese bomb moving disproportionately within it, he remotely activated his cheese bomb using his own ability, setting off the massive explosion of the larger Bob-omb sun. That's why the room stunk of spoiled milk: because the remote-activated cheese bomb had aged so much.

Squeaks' Cheese Bomb can be activated by fire. When the journal was thrown onto the Galaxy Diorama, it unbalanced the planets, causing a catastrophic misalignment in the timing of their orbits. The grinding of metal produced friction, generating sparks from the metal and heating the internal components. This produced enough fire to detonate the now-aged cheese bomb.
Actual Answer: First half is more of how it was designed to murder, rather than malfunction. What was mentioned was the bomb being activated by the sparks from the planets getting locked together and grinding up against each other. Full marks would've been made if you mentioned how the planets were made of metals that are particularly prone to sparking. That and the small inaccuracies assuming Squeaks activated it by himself is incorrect, so I'll give 18 points on this one.
Q3: Why didn’t the Galaxy Diorama malfunction in the 10+ years it was in use? (20)
Given Answer: The Galaxy Diorama didn't malfunction because Squeaks had full control over when it would malfunction. There was an object on one of the planets when Shenhe pushed the button, but the minuscule shift in balance didn't cause the malfunction. That was the signal to Squeaks for when he should activate his bomb.
Actual Answer: This unfortunately is incorrect. Squeaks was nowhere nearby when the button was pressed, and was in full view of Richie and Princess Shroob when the bomb went off. He had no way to remotely trigger it in that moment. You did mention the fact that an object was on one of the planets, but that specifically did cause the malfunction because of the weight. I can only give 10 points for this. Only because the discussion was correct around this.
Q4: Why was Shy Guy’s Journal in the Observatory? (7)
Given Answer: Shy Guy's Journal, minus the cover, was hidden inside the Sun Bomb, and it was housing Past Squeaks' cheese bomb for 15 years. The reason it was sticky when it was discovered at the crime scene was the aging cheese from the bomb soaking into the pages. When Emoji boy left the Observatory at A3, Squeaks threw the cover of Shy Guy's Journal onto one of the planets. This way, when Shenhe pushed the button, Past Squeaks would detect a shift in weight via his Cheese Bomb and know to activate the bomb. The cover of the journal was used so that both pieces would be found together at the scene of the crime, and to obscure the fact that they've been apart for 15 years, used for different purposes of the same murder plan.

Squeaks claims they dropped it in the Statue Room, but I think they threw it atop the Galaxy Diorama to cause the malfunction by applying more weight to the structure. It was partially destroyed when the thing came crashing down from the ceiling. (E.Moji in trial)
Actual Answer: This unfortunately is also 100% incorrect. The journal, plot relevance be damned, would've been absolutely incinerated by the blast. This assumes that Squeaks could sense the state of their bomb, which while not possible to be known, is still a risky assumption to make. The pages were sticky because glue was smeared all over the cover to help it stick to the diorama. The only thing that's correct is Squeaks threw "something", so I can only give 4 points on this one. Once again I'm feeling generous since E.Moji was so close.
Q5: Why are some people’s accounts inconsistent? (15)
Given Answer: Squeaks and Past Squeaks looked exactly the same, with the only difference being their black ribbon. At A0, Squeaks took Past Squeaks' black ribbon. This is why I saw Squeaks with the ribbon at A1, and Keziah saw Past Squeaks without the ribbon at the same time. After helping his Squeak Squad escape from the vault, Past Squeaks recovered a ribbon from his teammates. That's why Keziah saw Past Squeaks at the Vault at A3 with a black ribbon now on his right ear.
Actual Answer: This is correct! The ribbon was the key identifier between the Past and Present Squeaks. In actuality Past Squeaks would wear a ribbon on his left ear, while Present would have it on his right ear for maximum confusion, but the fact you mentioned the ribbon is the key between the two versions of Squeaks. 15 points.
Q6: Who is/are the Blackened? (15)
Given Answer: Squeaks and Past Squeaks are the Blackened. It technically is and technically isn't an accomplice murder because he is the same person, just from different time periods.
Actual Answer: Do I need to say more? That's why the "yes and no" accomplice answer was so confusing. This is correct. 15 points.
Q7: Was the Squeak Squad involved? (8)
Given Answer: Squeaks sent a letter to the Squeak Squad of 15 years ago, at the Paratroopa Outpost earlier today. He called them to Toad Town that night, but his real goal was to use his past self, Past Squeaks. After Squeaks rolled the giant Bob-omb to Toad Town (as his bonus blackened action), Squeaks and Past Squeaks met up at Archie's House during A0. There, they sabotaged Archie's Observatory Plans and painted the giant Bob-omb as the 'secret sun' for the diorama. Squeaks tore off the cover of Shy Guy's journal and used the main portion of it to wrap around Past Squeaks' cheese bomb of 15 years ago. They then stored this bomb inside the Sun, and it was Past Squeaks' job to wait 15 years for the signal to set off his cheese bomb within.
Past Squeaks was the one who unlocked the vault for Shenhe and the rest of the Squeak Squad, after Keziah had shut them in. There, Past Squeaks likely came up with some reason to convince Shenhe to go to the Observatory and turn on the Galaxy Diorama. This way, he knew that someone would activate their trap.

Actual Answer: While this mention on what Squeaks did during the night isn't needed, (and a bit is incorrect to the actual facts), the main point of calling the Squeak Squad was calling Past Squeaks for help in this murder plan. You even got the small detail that Past Squeaks called Shenhe to the Observatory under the guise of "investigating". I'll give 8 points for this one.
BONUS: Why was the trial held in Toad Town Square and not at the scene of the crime? (20 points)
The Trial is being held in Toad Town Square because the real culprit can only be executed in Toad Town of 15 years ago. Past Squeaks dealt the killing blow by triggering the explosion, and he can't go through the time portal to our crime scene or he would cease to exist.

Well while this is incorrect...I'm sure our dear Squeaks can explain this one. No points but it's okay, this one was a bit of a pipe dream answer anyway.
